Centred around a wood-burning river rock fireplace, the lounge features comfortable seating, rich timber finishes, and large windows with stunning Rocky Mountain views. A quiet library corner and handcrafted wooden details create the perfect space to unwind after a day at Kicking Horse. The open gathering area is designed for both relaxation and connection, with a warm and welcoming mountain atmosphere.

The dining area at Vagabond Lodge offers a warm and welcoming alpine setting, where guests can enjoy the complimentary Vagabond breakfast each morning. At the Vagabond, we value locally sourced, homemade food, with a seasonal breakfast spread featuring homemade waffles, preserves and jams, sourdough bread, overnight oats, fresh eggs, cheese and meats, and a large fruit salad. Unlimited tea and coffee is always available to fuel your next mountain adventure.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms at Vagabond Lodge are designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. All 10 ensuite rooms are finished in warm natural timber and feature comfortable beds, heated floors, large opening windows, and luxury Rocky Mountain Co. bath products.

Many rooms offer a mountain view and include either a private balcony or a built-in window seat. Bathrooms are well appointed with deep soak baths and showers, hairdryers, and premium amenities for a restorative stay after time on the slopes or trails.

The lodge offers a range of accommodation options to suit different guests, including Deluxe Queen and Deluxe King rooms, Twin Rooms, and two spacious Loft Suites with a queen bed plus an additional double bed upstairs - - ideal for families or those wanting extra space and flexibility.

The bar area at Vagabond Lodge is a cozy gathering space centred around a handcrafted wooden bar with a warm alpine feel. Stocked with glassware for mixing your own cocktails or pouring a well-earned glass of wine, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure. The bar also hosts our relaxed cheese and wine evenings, and each afternoon you’ll find a freshly baked treat waiting to welcome you back from the mountains.

Lower Floor

The lower floor at Vagabond Lodge is a relaxed social and wellness space designed for unwinding after a day in the mountains. Guests can enjoy a pool table and a comfortable seating area perfect for a game of chess, cards, or board games with friends.

This level also features a sauna for post-adventure recovery, along with an outdoor sheltered hot tub - an ideal spot to soak and relax while taking in the crisp mountain air.
